From our flower fixations and plant obsessions to the latest happenings around Hong Kong, the floristry team give you the low down on what's on our radar this month...
September marks the first seasonal shift from Summer to Autumn and see's some of our favourite blooms come into flower. Astrantia, Dahlia and Anenome to name just a few are at their peak this time of year.
The September full moon is know as the Harvest Moon. Traditionally as time of harvesting supplies for the long winter ahead. It's a time to take stock of the year thus far, to be thankful for the abundance of summer and to plan for the coming colder months. This year's Harvest Moon falls on 6th September.
For us, September still marks somewhat a new start, a new year. The back to school feelings of our childhood still hold a place in our subconscious and resolutions and new intentions always seem to surface this time of year. What better way to herald fresh starts and new beginnings than with an invigorating yoga practice. We suggest a deep and slow session at Yoga Bam Bam.
This month we're mainly listening to the ambient, up-beat tunes of bonobo. You can listen to the full playlist of tunes which fill our studio daily here.
